Saturday Morning Kids Activities at the ‘Espace Biblio @ Square Queen’ Every Saturday 10:00 AM to 1 PM

L’ESPACE BIBLIO welcomes children and families to free activities led by dynamic facilitators. Every Saturday from 10:00 AM to 1 PM at Square Queen during the Lennoxville Farmers’ Market, as well as at other special moments, we offer a lively space where young people can read, play, create, and learn. On site: games, books, toys, activities, and art materials. In case of rain or bad weather, activities will be held at the library. Updates will be posted on the library’s facebook page.

Makerspace for Homeschool Families

Every second Wednesday, 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM

A creative and collaborative space to explore STEAM activities in a hands-on and playful way. Primarily for children aged 6–11, with younger siblings welcome depending on needs. Small groups of 5–8 participants.

Family Book Club (in English)

Meetings resume in September

A friendly gathering for children and parents to share their recent reading. Games, activities, and discussion are included.

Every other month, families read a selected middle-grade novel together and meet to discuss and explore the story in greater depth.

Pajama Storytime

Meetings start up again in September!

Children and families are invited to come in their pajamas for stories, songs, snacks, and fun, led by early childhood education specialist Charity Kerrigan.

Free and open to all. Offered in partnership with the
Lennoxville & District Women’s Centre


Magic: The Gathering

Essences citoyennes – The Living Ideas Book Club (in French)

Reading to understand better, discussing to act better.
Essences citoyennes is a book club focused on environmental issues—a space for ongoing civic learning. It features powerful readings on contemporary challenges, enriching discussions with invited guests, and an accessible approach that encourages community engagement.

This project is led by Coralie Beaumont, PhD candidate at Université de Sherbrooke. Her research explores biodiversity governance through communication and information studies. A former science journalist, she is passionate about connecting research with public dialogue.
