APRIL 20: Kyra Shaughnessy

to seek oneself

to go inwards.

to seek oneself
in the chaos of days…

to remember…
the fire that shaped you
the waters that birthed you
the breath that moved you
the clay
that welcomed
the stamp of your dancing feet
celebrating
the gift of life….

let this passage
be a rebirth.

may you meet yourself
at the threshold
with arms outstretched
to embrace
the weary pilgrim
as she returns home
to discover

she was sheltered
by love
all along…
