Kids and parents are invited to read a selected work of middle grade fiction each month, then gather at the library on the last Friday of the month to dig deeper into the story and share insights and ideas with other readers.
Families can read the book in whatever way best suits their family, and then show up ready to discuss and share. All families are welcome, even if you haven’t finished the book before the meeting. Younger or older siblings are welcome too.
The club will be conducted primarily in English, but– as always– participants of any language background and ability are welcome.
The Library will have a copy of each book available for loan, and copies will be available by interlibrary loan too. If you will need an interlibrary loan copy, please let us know as early as possible, ideally at least 6 weeks before the meeting. Black Cat Books will also have reasonably priced copies on sale.
